This page contains the Outreach Signup form and a list of people who have signed up already. If you are a first-time Outreach Volunteer, please carefully read all the Members Only Links above and the Signup Instructions on this page. If you still need more help or info, complete the I HAVE QUESTIONS section near the bottom of the signup form or contact the Outreach Coordinator.

You must be an official Rabbit Advocate to volunteer. IMPORTANT: You MUST be an official Rabbit Advocate Volunteer in order to volunteer at an Outreach. If you are not an official Rabbit Advocate yet, please visit our Volunteer Page for more information and a volunteer application.

1. I am an official "Rabbit Advocate" volunteer and have completed all necessary paperwork including a volunteer application and a photo ID. If you are not an official "RA", please do not sign up. Instead, please visit http://rabbitadvocates.org/volunteer.html or click the "Volunteer" link at left for information about becoming an official RA.

2. If signing up for a position OTHER THAN APPRENTICE, I have completed an Outreach training during an actual Outreach and I have attended at least one more Outreach.

Signup Instructions:

  • Before signing up, please please review all pages, especially the Outreach Guidelines & Job Descriptions. Use the handy "Links" on all the pages to navigate from page to page.

  • Items marked with * are required.

  • We need 1 lead, 1 assistant, and 2 pawdicurists per Outreach. (Please check the Outreach Staffing & News page and the signup form to see whether a position is filled before signing up.)

  • You may check off as many dates as you wish and choose ONE position for those checked dates (see EXAMPLES below).

  • If you prefer to serve as a backup in case a previously signed up person cannot make it, please select the (Backup...) Volunteer Position that you want. We will contact you in advance if we need you.

  • If you need to cancel your commitment, please use this form to cancel, giving us plenty of time to make other arrangements to fill your position.

EXAMPLES:

Example 1: You want to serve as Assistant for the first 5 Outreaches of the year. Check off the 1st through 5th dates, select Assistant from the Volunteer Position list, and click SUBMIT.

Example 2: You want to serve as Assistant for the first 5 Outreaches and Lead for the first 2 even-numbered month Outreaches. Complete the form for Assistant as described above and click SUBMIT. Then return to this page, check off the desired even-numbered month dates, select Lead from the Volunteer Position list, and click SUBMIT.
