Salvadorre is CUTE!We brought in $125 in donations for 19 groomed rabbits-some of the donations were not even from people who were getting rabbits groomed, so that was great. We actually had 20 groomed rabbits-because I got another foster rabbit delivered to the outreach and Cyndy groomed him for me while I was busy talking to people about Salvadorre- or why they should bond their rabbits, or where vets in their area were, or whatever rabbit related topic was brought up! I forgot to fill out a waiver for him because I was too busy!

Not only did we come through on volunteers,as Elizabeth listed we had several, but we had some special guests as well-Mary Huey, VP of RA (and master neuter/spay coordinator amongst other roles), stopped in and Lesley who couldn't officially volunteer today did come in and help with a bit of set up while her rabbits Smudge, Squirrel, and Monkey waited to get groomed and helped me with some info about how the rabbit waivers worked (Thanks!).

People seemed pretty chatty today and a lot of the people who brought in rabbits were conversing freely about their rabbits, other people's rabbits, and there was a good vibe in the air. :)

Kirk kept many of us laughing (volunteers and guests!) while Cyndy, Cherrie, Elizabeth and Juliet rocked the grooming portion (which is pretty much the headliner of the outreach) and Lorraine co-led; holding the fort down and educating the masses about rabbit behavior, litter box habits, how to hold them (rabbits!, not litter boxes) and groom them and answering any questions people had (and trust me there were a lot!).

Last but not least there was Salvadorre, my adorable Lionhead foster, whom many people were gaga for and one family in particular seemed very interested, so hopefully I'll be hearing from them soon! They had a female rabbit who is single and wasn't looking for a partner today-she just needed a pawdicure, but you never know when Cupid will strike...and the two rabbits really hit it off, so here's to kismet! *cheers*

I took a cute picture on my phone but am not sure how to upload it to the computer. If I figure it out I'll send it along.

Thank you to everyone who made the outreach happen successfully once again and of course a HUGE thank you to Elizabeth for tirelessly organizing all of the outreaches!

If you have never been to an outreach you should try to go-especially if you can help groom or bring a foster rabbit to show people how awesome pet rabbits are! :)
