Interactive & Contact Forms - Examples
Interactive features of Cool Tools include Live Chat, Chat Room, Message Board, Content Rotator, Feedback Form, Guest Book, Polling Booth, Page Hit Counter, Mailing List Signup, and RSS Feeds. (Live Chat, Chat Room and Message Board are upgrade features.)
Message Board
Your message board is divided into multiple forums - each forum allows message board users to post topics and replies within the forum. You can choose whether to have approvals required before new messages will appear on the message board.

Chat Visitors can interact with each other in a chat room. A premium upgrade (not shown here) includes BizLiveChat (Live Chat), which enables you to monitor your site in real time and chat with visitors.
Content Rotator
Use the content rotator to set up a section of your web page that rotates/changes each time the page is viewed or have content that is set to display on specific dates or days of the week. To enable content rotation, edit any page, click the Add button and choose the content rotator from the Design Accents menu. Set up each of your content sections and then add content.

 This content changes COLOR each time you view the page. Click the Refresh or Reload button on your browser (or press F5) to see the change.

Feedback (Contact Us) Form
A standard feedback form with one or more columns. You can customize many aspects of the form's appearance and behavior; you can even have secure forms (https:) whose data is not sent via email but instead visible from your site administration area. The Submit button can have any name you like, such as "Submit" or "Go for it!"
Guest Book Visitors can click on the "Sign the Guest Book" link and enter their name and email address into the guestbook.

Polling Booth Communicate and interact with visitors to your site using polling booths, which let visitors vote in your own online poll.

Page Hit Counter This feature records the number of page hits (visits to the page). You can reset the counter as needed.
NOTE: The counter increases by one every time someone visits the page or refreshes it, so you cannot rely on this feature to measure your website's popularity :-)
Mailing List Signup Allows site visitors to add themselves to your site's mailing list. With the mailing list feature, you can send email newsletters.
RSS Feeds The RSS feature enables you to put links on your site to articles on other websites. The links are published in an RSS feed file provided by the other site. To get the links on your pages, you simply enter the full URL to the RSS feed and click Apply Changes. For example, to set up the RSS Feed shown below, we created a link to the RSS feed at http://www.medicinenet.com/rss/dailyhealth.xml.
When you place RSS feeds on your site, links to the articles in the RSS feed are inserted into your webpage along with a brief summary. When you click one of the article links, a new window opens to show the article page. Give it a try!
